How to prepare for your dryer vent cleaning appointment

A few details about your home can help us plan access before your service visit.

By 916 Vent Cleaning

Scheduling a dryer vent cleaning visit starts with understanding your setup. You do not need to know every detail of the duct route. Share what you know, and let us know when something is uncertain.

Start with the laundry room.

Tell us whether your dryer is on the ground floor or upstairs and whether it is stacked or side by side with your washer. Mention tight spaces, closet doors, or other access limitations.

Describe the exterior outlet.

If you already know where the dryer exhaust exits, include that information in your appointment request. It may be on an exterior wall or the roof. If you are unsure, simply select “Not sure” on the scheduling form.

Share property access details.

Include parking instructions, gate access arrangements, and any building management requirements. Confirm permission for service if your property requires it.

A quick appointment checklist

  • Confirm your service address and contact details.
  • Choose a preferred date and time window.
  • Describe the dryer location and vent outlet, if known.
  • Note any access restrictions or questions.

Wait for appointment confirmation.

Your preferred date is a request. We will contact you to confirm availability and discuss any access details before your appointment is reserved.
